We wanted to avoid Brooklyn in the first round. Check.

We preferred Indy to Miami in the second round. Check.

And if the Bulls would have won tonight, they would have wound up in the 3 seed with their playoff nightmare- Brooklyn in round 1, Miami in round 2.

It worked out perfectly.

Yeah we got lucky as fuck tonight, if we win it's Brooklyn and Miami, and we're screwed. I haven't been happy to see the Bulls lose since the tanking days after the dynasty broke up, but tonight was definitely worth it. After I heard about the Nets tanking tonight, I was almost hoping we would lose.

Even with yesterday's 4th quarter debacle, the Wiz are still the best matchup they could have hoped for. At worst, if Augustin continues to play the way he did yesterday, we have Fredette to come in and be our shooter.
