This seems like a good idea for a running thread- I know several of you are like me- current or former readers and/or posters over at RealGM, and their complete downturn is the only reason I even started this board. I still read the board sometimes, because they are still a few great posters there, and there are still a few guys with sources who will give you Bulls info that you won't get elsewhere (or you'll get it before any of the major sites have it).
I'll get things started, and I think you'll really like this one (it was written by a moderator!):
The Bulls got outscored by 18 points in the first half vs the Pistons. But in the 7 minutes that Snell was on the floor, they played to a tie, meaning they got outscored by 18 in the other 17 minutes.
How is that "playing at a disadvantage"? Obviously Snell didn't contribute on the stat sheet, but it's also just as obvious that the Bulls played much, much better in the first half when Snell was in the game that when he wasn't.

This is funny on so many levels, I don't even know where to begin.
Apparently this genius is not familiar with how free agency works. Players leave teams when their contracts end, and their team replaces them with other free agents or draft picks.
Ironically enough, Nate, Belinelli, Korver and Watson were all players that the Bulls acquired as free agents. Their old teams "let them walk for nothing", or they wouldn't have been Bulls in the first place.
Deng and Asik were draft picks, again players that the Bulls acquired and gave up nothing in exchange.
When Korver left "for nothing", the Bulls replaced him with Belinelli, who they got "for nothing". Then Belinelli left and they replaced him with Dunleavy, who- you guessed it- they got "for nothing".
When Watson left, the Bulls replaced him with Hinrich, who they "got for nothing".
And sorry to sound like a broken record, but when Robinson left, they replaced him with Augustin, who they got "for nothing".
And the funny thing is, I don't think there is a single Bulls fan out there who would rather have Nate on this team than DJ right now. Well, maybe the moron who wrote that post, but I digress.
I'll bet the Pacers would gladly trade Watson for Hinrich right about now. I feel very comfortable in saying that Kirk will outplay CJ in the playoffs. Intelligent Bulls fans, and Thibs, understand what Kirk brings to this team.
I'll definitely take Dunleavy over Korver 10 times out of 10. ALL Korver can do is shoot 3's, and he can't even do that in the playoffs. In fact, Dunleavy is a career .385 3pt shooter in the playoffs, Korver's at .376 for his playoff career.
I guess now it's time to point out that the Bulls didn't let Deng go "for nothing", they got 3 or 4 draft picks in return.
Asik? Houston overpaid him, and lots of Bulls fans cried "we could have signed him and traded him"... yeah, how'd that work out for the Rockets? They tried to trade him from the day they signed Howard until the deadline, and couldn't even get a first round pick for him. Intelligent fans realize that when a team has a superstar playing in front of a guy, they can't get much for him in a trade. Especially when the guy has no offensive skills.
It's guys like this that made me start this board. On RealGM, you can't point out how fucking stupid that comment was, they prefer to protect the ignorant. Makes for a lot of good laughs, but not very good Bulls talk.
