First of all, welcome aboard! If you're reading this message, I hope you're also going to register and join the conversations.
If you're wondering why I created this board, it's really simple- I wanted an option for intelligent Bulls fans to discuss the team with other intelligent Bulls fans. Don't we all? So what is going to set this board apart from other Bulls boards?
This board is going to basically be un-moderated. We are all adults here, why does anyone need to be told how they can act in a free country? If someone says something that is stupid, why shouldn't people be allowed to tell him (or her) that what they said was stupid?
Now that doesn't mean you can tell someone their wife is ugly, or their kids are mentally challenged- no personal attacks. But if someone gives their opinion on BASKETBALL, and it's ridiculous or hypocritical, why can't you point that out?
If poster A doesn't like what poster B said about their opinion, poster A can easily put poster B on ignore. Don't come crying to a moderator, click the ignore button. Easy enough.
There is also no profanity filter in place, none whatsoever. Again, if you don't like the way a poster uses the English language, ignore them. Problem solved.
Most importantly, I want a board with accountability. If someone is going all-out with their opinion of a player/GM/coach, shouldn't another someone be able to point out the first someone's track record of being wrong about most things?
There's some of the reasons I created this board, just the first ones that popped into my head. If I think of any others, I post them here.
